    We designed and filed a campus networked-style fire alarm system for the main Grandstand and each of the fourteen (14) stables. Our services included preparation of design plans, filing, pre-approvals required from the NYC Department of Buildings and Fire Department, supervision of the bidding and award process, supervision of the installation, attendance to all meetings, pre-inspection of the Fire Alarm System prior to final inspection by NYC Fire Department and our presence at all Inspections conducted by FDNY until the final approval was received.

    Dream Hotel Downtown

    We acted as a Code Consultant for the owner of the hotel on the fire alarm system proposed by their engineer. Our services included conducting a peer review and comments on the proposed fire alarm system plans and attending meetings throughout the project to discuss and address any issues that arise and coordinate all final pre-inspections and FDNY inspections required until the final Letter of Approval was received. Throughout the project we also acted as a liaison with FDNY to discuss and obtain clarification and pre-approval on any code related items or issues that came up to insure no delays on the project. Additionally, we conducted pre-inspections of the fire alarm systems prior to the FDNY Inspection, and we attended all the Fire Department Inspections. Finally, we provided and obtained approval of required affidavit (s) by the Borough Commissioner to satisfy the fire alarm component required to obtain the temporary construction sign-off required for the initial (TCO) of the hotel.

    We have and continue to act as a Code Consultant for the owner on the fire alarm system proposed by their engineer on various projects.     We acted as code consultants for the owner to ensure that the fire alarm system designed and installed by others is properly pre-inspected prior to FDNY inspection and passes at the time of the Fire Department inspection. Our services included reviewing and commenting on the proposed fire alarm system plans and attending meetings throughout the project to discuss and address any issues that arise and coordinate all final pre-inspections and FDNY inspections required until the final Letter of Approval was received. Throughout the project we also acted as a liaison with FDNY to discuss and obtain clarification and pre-approval on any code related items or issues that came up to insure no delays on the project. Additionally, we conducted pre-inspections of the fire alarm systems prior to the FDNY Inspection, and we attended all the Fire Department Inspections.     We oversaw the design of the legalization of the Fire Alarm System installed throughout the ship and building. Our scope of services included reviewing the proposed plans and revising as required to meet the requirements of FDNY, discussions and research with the NYC Fire Department on existing Letter of Defect and open Violation Orders, pre-inspecting the installed fire alarm system, and attending the FDNY inspections until the final FDNY Letter of Approval was received.

    We acted as a code consultant for the owner on the fire alarm system proposed by their engineer for the Center for Science and Medicine Building located at 1470 Madison Avenue and the Tower Building located at 10 East 102nd Street in Manhattan. . Our services included peer review and comments on the proposed fire alarm system plans and attending meetings throughout the project to discuss and address any issues that arise and coordinate all final pre-inspections and FDNY inspections required until the final Letter of Approval was received for each building and all related sub-systems.     N.Y.U. Langone Medical Center

    We acted as a code consultant to assist the hospital on a long-term plan to replace the existing fire alarm system in each building on NYU’s super block. Our scope of services to date has included meeting with the NYC Fire Department to obtain pre-approval of the proposed upgrade in phases and backbone of the replacement system in the Tisch and Health Care Center buildings. We have also assisted NYU after Superstorm Sandy in formulating alternate fire watch plans and approval by the NYC Fire and Building Departments due to damage and failure of the fire alarm systems in various buildings.
